Bond Elut Diol (2OH)
Glycol (2OH) is typically used to extract polar substances from nonpolar solvents.
Diol (2OH) is typically used to extract polar substances from non-polar solvents. The strong hydrogen bonding capability of diol is similar to that of non-bonded silica, and its ability to distinguish between similar compounds, such as structural isomers, is common with the main capabilities of silica. The separation of prostaglandins using diol can be achieved by gradually changing the polarity of the solvent during elution. Diol is a filler with higher reproducibility compared to silica in normal phase systems, allowing for predictable results. Diol can also be used to retain non-polar compounds due to hydrocarbon spacers. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.*
